| Me at Pack Square last week! |
It was a light turnout this week and only one lane so no team results. Mike Tierney is back in town and just established his average 11 weeks into the season.
And apparently the only other thing worth talking about was Dog's propensity to avoid the Ten Pin with both his first and second shots on Wednesday. By my count, out of thirty frames, Doug managed to leave the Ten Pin standing 11 times, or 1/3 of his three games. That is the Ten Pin managing to remain standing after 22 passes of the bowling ball. In Doug's defense, he is still bowling 15 pins on average better than last season (year) which is far and above any improvement from the rest of us. I guess that officially makes Dog our "Most Improved Bowler". So Congrats!
This week's individual results aren't really significant due to the low turnout and Mike T. just now establishing his average/handicap. Mike T. comes out on top by just bowling his average because no one else had a stellar day.
The past averages vs today's results table just confirms the lack of standout scores.
And, the only movement on our overall standings was Mike T. inserting himself into the mix.
Hoping for a better turnout next week. See you then!
