So this week we once again pampered ourselves with another "No-Tap" competition. And as this week's blog title indicates, knocking down 9 pins was "Good Enough For Government Work" and a strike! Full disclosure: I wanted to work on part of my game and I didn't want my average to continue to plummet from the resulting learning curve and the no-tap format was perfect for that. As it turns out, Todd had the exact opposite concern. I reassured Todd that Wednesday's scores would not be included in our League Averages. I don't blame him really. No one would want to have to live up to his 285 first game score week in and week out.
Even though we are not counting this towards our averages, we still had a little team and individual competition in the mix.
First place individual honors go to "Ten Strike Todd" with three of Spare Change's 200+ games and a total pin count of 723. I took second honors narrowly over Tom with 566 and 548 pins respectively. And since this week's outing does not count to our Accidental Bowlers' League averages, our league standings remain unchanged.
That's all till next week. Everyone take care and be safe!
